I was born in Hungary in I have been living in Germany with my family since , in the wonderful and captivating Bavarian Forest. After graduating from university as a horticulturist, I worked in the public sector for 7 years. In I decided to make a fundamental change in my life. Together with my wife, we opened a webshop selling various products, among which are the tobacco pipes that I restored myself.

It fills my heart with pleasure to see an old, worn pipe be brought back to life, to be as beautiful as it once was. I have had a passion for smoking pipes for over 20 years. For a long time, I had planned to make pipes under my name. In March I finally decided to begin making handmade tobacco pipes as an autodidact. To finally be able to express those thoughts and feelings that hide in me and in the briarwood.

The pipes that I make with my own hands are the perfect embodiment of these feelings. I started to feel and be enchanted by artistic freedom, which opened up a whole new world for me. A world I have never known before. From that point on, it has become my calling, my job. I work exclusively with Italian Mimmo and Greek Plateaux or Ebauchon briarwood and I use natural materials for the decorations: different domestic and exotic woods, and various types of horns and antlers.
I make mouthpieces of high-quality ebonite or acrylic.

As my workshop, I equipped a small shed at the edge of the forest with the required machinery. It takes a lot of time and energy to make a tobacco pipe. Every single one of them has a personality, a uniqueness. To smoke a pipe grants the same joy today, as it has for centuries. It helps us to leave the ever-busy world of ours for a few hours, just until the embers go out.

Kalmar – a historical city by the sea and a gateway to Öland
Nach dem Universitätsabschluss als Gartenbauingenieur arbeitete ich 7 Jahre im öffentlichen Dienst. Zusammen mit meiner Ehefrau eröffneten wir einen Webshop, in dem wir auch Tabakpfeifen anboten, die ich restauriert hatte. Seit über 20 Jahren darf ich mich wohl einen leidenschaftlichen Pfeifenraucher nennen. Seit langer Zeit plante ich, einmal in der Zukunft eigene Pfeifen unter meinem Namen herzustellen.
Im März entschloss ich mich letztens als Autodidakt zu versuchen, handmade Tabakpfeifen zu fertigen. Dieser Gedanke, der tief in mir und im Bruyereholz verborgen ist, wollte nun geformt werden. Mich verzauberte die Freiheit dieser gestalterischen Phase, die mir eine ganz neue Welt eröffnete. Es war etwas, was ich so, vorher noch nicht kannte.
Von diesem Zeitpunk an ist es meine Berufung, meine Aufgabe geworden. Ich arbeite ausschliesslich mit italienischem Mimmo und griechischem Plateaux oder Ebauchon Bruyereholz und ich nutze für die Verzierungen natürliche Materialien: unterschiedliche. Die Mundstücke werden aus hochwertigem Ebonite oder Akryl gefertigt. Für die Anfertigung einer Tabakpfeife wird sehr viel Zeit benötigt.
Das Ergebnis dieses langen, kreativen Prozesses ist ein einzigartiges Exemplar der Handwerkskunst.
